exercise I love that the CrossFit Open gives something to everyone whether it be a 40 year old elite athlete trying to qualify in the top 200 for the AGOQ or an 85 year old just having fun! 😊👌💪

Posted @withrepost • @eamon.coyne Max walked through our doors in 2013 to try something new and help him move better in the hopes of staving off some of the aging process. 
He completed 20.1 at 85 years old today.  What did @cfceo say about masters not being inspiring? I’m fired up for the lives we are changing at the affiliate level from our kids class all the way through the age spectrum to older athletes.

These tiniest of blood vessels called artérioles are so small, that you can only see them under a microscope. They are lined by a single layer of cells. NO is a gas made inside those cells from one atom of Nitrogen and one atom of Oxygen linked together. The cells take up an amino acid called Arginine found in proteins and in supplements which carries Nitrogen to an enzyme that carries out the chemical reaction that makes NO. Another amino acid called Citrulline found in some foods and supplements works together with arginine to support making NO. Once released from the cell NO relaxes the smooth muscles in the wall of the artériole increasing blood flow by enlarging these tiny blood vessels as shown on the slide. exercise I have decided to stop weighing myslef and I am happy about it.

I will focus on my measurements and I already got my goals (which are my old measurements 😢, except for my butt, that one I am increasing). Thigh: 47 cm/ 18.5 inch
Arm: 22.9 cm/ 9 inch
Waist: 58 cm/ 22.8 inch
Butt: 94 cm/ 37 inch

Maybe I am being a bit unrealistic  with that butt measurement bc I have to lose weight to get to those measurements and Ik I will reduce my butt, still, I lose nothing with putting that 😂

TIPS FOR USING PROPS:⁠
Use props! Every pose in this sequence can be used with either a block or a strap, and boy do some of our hamstrings need it- I know mine do!⁠

For Downward Dog: Use blocks under hands to allow you to focus on your hamstrings and go deeper.⁠
⁠
For Standing Forward Fold: Use blocks under your hands right in front of your feet so you keep a straight back in order to effectively stretch your hamstrings.⁠

For Pyramid and Half Split: Use blocks on either side of your front foot to allow you to deepen as you fold without rounding your back.⁠

For Triangle and Extended Side Angle: Use a block under your bottom hand to provide lengthen to maintain proper alignment.⁠

Or to make a relationship work? Instead,why not focus on yourself - working on your goals, learning something, being a more positive person and helping others. That will boost ur self-estemm far more than any lover could. Next time that guy or grls treats u badly, say thnk you. exercise Which slice of life is missing from your cheese pancake? (Which by the way is the most delicious food ever!) Our lives are divided up into various different areas that together bring us into our fullness, bring us to more fulfilment. 
We may be great at friendships, but our intimate relationships may not be flourishing in the way we desire. 
We may be great at giving to others, being loving, charitable and kind but do not allow ourselves to receive the same goodness and abundance in return.

We may socialise a lot, communicating with friends and family daily and then forget to spend time connecting with ourselves spiritually. 
We may use the gym, eat healthily and exercise, to escape how we are really feeling about ourselves. Our emotions may also need to be tended to by just remaining still, really feeling what’s going on in our hearts and in our minds. 
Which area do you need to develop more? 
Relationships/friendships? Your body? Your emotions? Your social life? Your spirituality? Your ability to give and receive? Your financial situation? 
There is always something to work on. Decide what it is and get to it!

exercise Day 22 of the #spark10challenge is done.  I was back at the gym tonight.  I always feel somewhat anxious right before class.  It's like you never know what to expect but you kinda do because the workouts are posted beforehand. It's all mental.  You see the workouts and think "oh shit, how am I going to get through all that?" But you know what, you do.  You always get through it! Just keep pushing!

Last night my beautiful friend sent me a screenshot of a workout...50 reps of a bunch of different exercises...including...

Box jumps, walking lunges, wall balls, back extensions, burpees, pull ups and double unders.

But, if you’re wanting a high intensity workout, with no timer and with minimal chill (and yeah, we ALL need some chill...), then picking a number and a bunch of exercises, is a simple solution.

Although 50 burpees sounds like my idea of hell... 🔥

Good nutrition doesn’t have to be boring, there are lots of options to bring variety and fun to your meals - here is a quick breakfast option I whipped up this morning in my pancake maker (saves so much time and only $25 from K-Mart)

- 1/3 Molen Steen Dutch Pancake Mix (from Aldi)
- 1 egg
- 250 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 50g Fresh Strawberries
- 15ml Sugar Free Maple Syrup
.
Mix the pancake mix, egg and milk together, cook in the pancake maker and serve with strawberries and maple syrup
.
300 Cals per serve (3-4 pancakes), 39g Carbs, 11g Fat, 15g Protein
.

exercise My back down volume sets after my heavy  sets on bench press yesterday. Was very happy still getting some solid numbers after being very fatigued. 😁 Fought through the burn and fatigue well! 🤘 Bench press was a touch and go workout and went 2 sets of 10 135, set of 5 185, singles with 225, 255, 285, set of 2 315, set of 5 315 slingshot, set of 1 315 2-3 second pause rep, set of 7 275, set of 12 245, and a set 15 225 failure. 💪Getting back to where I want to be but slowly stepping it up each workout. Setbacks lead to great comebacks! Goal is a 5 rep with 315 touch and go and 315 4 rep pauses. 🙏

exercise First time training back in like 3 weeks.  Finally got a nice session in at the gym for about 2 and a half hours with my dad @9__finger ! 😁 Did some chest and then upper back. Ended it with arms. 💪 Did 4 sets of pull ups, 4 sets of shrugs and 7 sets of pull downs 3 variations. Lastly killed arms. Felt rusty and even a lil weak but I bounce back quick! 🤘 I'll be back to normal soon. 🙏
